The couple met, fell in love and tied the knot on Season 1 of the Netflix dating series.
Former “Love Is Blind” stars Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton are parents.
The couple, who fell in love and married on Season 1 of Netflix’s hit dating series, welcomed their first child, a son they named Ezra William Hamilton, earlier this month.
“To God be the GLORY! Our son, Ezra William Hamilton, made his debut October 1st, a little earlier than planned, but perfectly on God’s time,” the couple wrote in a birth announcement they jointly shared Oct. 20 on Instagram.
“After an unexpected turn with preeclampsia and a few days in the hospital, we’ve been taking it slow… healing, resting, and soaking up all the love,” they added.
Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication that could include high blood pressure, high levels of protein in urine that indicate kidney damage (proteinuria), or other signs of organ damage, according to Mayo Clinic. It usually occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy in women whose blood pressure has been in the standard range previously.
Speed-Hamilton did not disclose any further information about her preeclampsia.

Speed-Hamilton and Hamilton included multiple images of the new mom embracing her newborn in her hospital bed, as well as a black-and-white shot of the proud dad holding his son to his bare chest in his wife’s hospital room.
Baby Ezra’s middle name appears to be a tribute to Speed-Hamilton’s late father, Bill, who died on Christmas Day in 2024.
His arrival comes one year after Speed-Hamilton and Hamilton opened up about their struggles with fertility and their experience with IVF on their podcast “The Love Seat” in October 2024.
“The number one question we are always asked is, ‘When are you going to have a baby?’” Hamilton said.
Discussing their fertility journey on their podcast was “still kind of tough,” shared Speed-Hamilton. “But I think it’s so important to talk about it so that you can see yourself in the conversation that we’re about to have,” she added.
The couple announced they were expecting in May 2025 when they shared a movie trailer-style video on Instagram. The sweet clip chronicled their life together from their time on “Love Is Blind” to adopting their first pet and building a home together.
The video concluded with the image of a positive pregnancy test and the sound of a fetal heartbeat.
Speed-Hamilton and Hamilton told People at the time that they had been trying for a baby for four years when they learned they were expecting.
“We did the classic test and we both went into the bathroom to look at the Clearblue test and it was face down,” Hamilton told the publication. “We flipped it over. We saw the word pregnant, and that was just a huge moment to actually see the word pregnant on the test.”
“Seeing the word pregnant, it was amazing,” Speed-Hamilton said. “We just looked at each other. I fell to my knees and cried.”
