Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker are officially parents of two.
Hudgens announced the birth of her second child Nov. 29 with a candid set of photos on social media from while she was in labor. Like her first child, she did not share the sex or name of the baby.
In an Instagram post shared on Saturday, the actor included a snap of her in a hospital bed while she held her husband’s hand.
“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” Hudgens captioned the post. “What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
Hudgens went on to share a second photo on her Instagram story, revealing a side effect from her birth experience: a popped blood vessel.

In a caption on the photo, Hudgens joked, “Labor. Poppin out babies and blood vessels loooool.”
After the couple’s February 2023 engagement, Hudgens and Tucker got married in December 2023 in Mexico.
Less than a year after their wedding, Hudgens announced her pregnancy on the Oscars red carpet in March 2024, posing in a black gown that accentuated her baby bump.
Hudgens confirmed that she had welcomed her first child in July 2024, but she had choice words for the paparazzi who “disrespected” her family’s privacy by snapping photos of her and her husband leaving the hospital with their newborn.
“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media,” Hudgens wrote on her Instagram story at the time. “Despite all of that, Mom dad and baby are happy and healthy.”
One year after giving birth to the couple’s first child, Hudgens and Tucker announced in a joint Instagram post in July that they were expecting their second child.
The couple posed side-by-side in the photos, with Hudgens donning a long skirt with a matching crop top, which left her baby bump on full display.
They fittingly captioned the post, “Round two!!!!”
Hudgens spoke to “E! News” back in August about becoming a mom.
During the interview, she discussed how being a parent affected her time management, sharing, “Balance? I don’t know her.”
“Life is crazy and time is a really precious thing. I am a person of extremes—I’m all in doing one thing or another,” she explained. “So I guess that’s balance, if you call extremes balance.”
