Vanessa Hudgens is pregnant with her second child with her husband, former professional baseball player Cole Tucker.
A year after confirming the birth of their first child in July 2024, the “High School Musical” star announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post.
“Round two!!!!” Hudgens wrote beside the July 12 photo carousel, showing off her baby bump while smiling with Tucker.
Two more photos in the post feature the couple laughing and pointing at Hudgens’ bump, which was peeking out of her flowing tank top and skirt set.
In the comments, fellow celebrities and fans celebrated the family’s news.
Sarah Hyland wrote, “YESSSSSS!!!!” with three heart-eyed emoji.
“Oh. My. Yessssss congratulations beauties!!!!” Julianne Hough commented with a fiery heart emoji.
The couple has kept their first baby’s likeness out of the public eye over the past year, and they have not shared their child’s name and sex.
Hudgens confirmed the birth of the baby on social media in July 2024 with a text post shared to her Instagram story.
Hudgens wrote that she and and the former Los Angeles Angels player were “disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected” after paparazzi photographed them leaving the hospital with their newborn.
“Despite all of that, Mom dad and baby are happy and healthy,” she added at the time.
In May 2025, Hudgens shared a black-and-white photo to Instagram of her posing with an exposed baby bump in honor of her first Mother’s Day as a mom.
“Becoming a mother has been the hardest, most exhausting but also incredibly fulfilling and joyous chapter of my life. I couldn’t be more grateful for my little family,” she wrote.”
“Happy Mother’s Day to all who’ve done their time or are in the grind. The power mamas hold is truly supernatural and I admire us all,” she concluded.
In December 2023, Hudgens and Tucker tied the knot in Tulum, Mexico, less than a year after they announced their engagement in February 2023.
The two met on a Zoom meditation group, Hudgens told “Entertainment Tonight” in April 2021.
In an April 2023 interview with TODAY.com, Hudgens thanked the “power of manifestation” for Tucker entering her life. Before meeting the former athlete, she said she created a list of qualities she wanted in her next partner.
“Someone who can celebrate themselves so that they can celebrate me. Someone who has an innately positive outlook on life, because I do. Someone who works to live, not lives to work. Someone goofy,” Hudgens said at the time of her list.
After spending her first weekend with Tucker, Hudgens said she thought, “You literally check all of my boxes.”
