It was a sunny Saturday morning in the DZ Family house. The smell of pancakes filled the air, and laughter echoed down the hallway. Jade, the bright-eyed and adventurous daughter of the DZ Family, was already up and dressed, her favorite sparkly sneakers laced up tight.
“Today’s the day,” she whispered to herself, grinning.
For weeks, Jade had been planning something special. Her parents, Rym and Didi, had been so busy lately—with filming, editing, and taking care of little Ayan—that Jade decided it was time to surprise them with a “DZ Chill Day,” totally organized by her.
She ran downstairs, where her mom was pouring orange juice and her dad was flipping pancakes while dancing to a silly beat.
“Mom, Dad—no filming today!” Jade announced, hands on her hips. “Today is all about family fun. I’ve got everything planned.”
Rym and Didi looked at each other, surprised but intrigued. “Oh really?” Didi said, raising an eyebrow. “And what do you have planned, little boss?”
Jade handed them each a handmade invitation covered in glitter and stickers. “We start with pancake breakfast, then a scavenger hunt in the garden, followed by a water balloon fight, and finally… a surprise movie night in the backyard!”
They burst out laughing, not because it was funny, but because they were amazed at her creativity and effort.
The day was perfect. The scavenger hunt had everyone running around looking for clues Jade had carefully hidden behind flowerpots and under cushions. Even little Ayan waddled along, giggling every time someone found a clue.
Then came the water balloon fight. Jade teamed up with her mom, while Didi became a one-man target. Everyone ended up soaked and happy, especially when Jade shouted, “This is for never letting me win at Uno!” and hit Didi square in the chest with a balloon.
As the sun set, Jade led everyone to the backyard, where she had set up pillows, blankets, and fairy lights. On the projector screen appeared a home movie Jade had secretly made: a montage of DZ Family memories, complete with funny captions and music.
By the time the credits rolled, Rym and Didi had tears in their eyes.
“You’re amazing, Jade,” Rym whispered, hugging her tight. “Thank you for this.”
Jade beamed. “It’s what family’s for.”
And just like that, under the twinkling stars, the DZ Family ended their day with popcorn, cuddles, and the kind of love that doesn’t need a camera to capture.
So beautiful lovely child I just love this family
