First pregnancy vs second

First Pregnancy:
When Mia found out she was pregnant for the first time, it felt like the whole world shifted. Every tiny symptom — a flutter, a cramp, a craving — felt monumental. She devoured pregnancy books, tracked her baby’s size week by week (from poppy seed to watermelon!), and carefully curated a playlist for labor. Her hospital bag was packed by month seven, with three different outfits for the baby — just in case. Every appointment felt like a sacred event, and she treated herself like a glass doll, nervous about every little thing she ate or did.

Second Pregnancy:
When Mia got pregnant the second time, she smiled, closed the pregnancy app after a few weeks, and went back to chasing her toddler around the house. She felt flutters at 16 weeks but barely had time to pause and marvel. Her hospital bag? She tossed it together between contractions. She craved naps more than pickles and ice cream, and her biggest worry wasn’t what stroller to buy — it was whether her toddler would share toys with the new baby. Appointments became pit stops between grocery runs, and Mia’s mindset had shifted: she was still excited, but now she was confident, relaxed, and knew that every burp, cry, and sleepless night would pass faster than she could imagine.
